High winds, arctic temperatures and snow is in the forecast for N.J.

According to Accuweather,. This Valentine’s Day Weekend storm could bring between one to three inches to New Jersey. Add to that the high winds, arctic temperatures and snow could also mean a rise in the need for EMERGENCY TREE SERVICE.

According to Accuweather, the storm hitting New England this weekend could deliver anywhere between 1 to 3 inches of snow to us here in New Jersey.

Although this is a relatively moderate snowfall, we feel the following are reasons for concern.

• high winds
• arctic temperatures
• additional snow fall accumulations upon existing that has not melted away

Moreover, according to the National Weather Service A high wind advisory is in effect for much of N.J. until 2 p.m. Sunday.
Winds of up to 25 to 30 miles per hour are expected, with possible gusts of around 60 MPH

The highest winds are expected between 5 a.m. and noon Sunday.

Snow is in the forecast for New Jersey. In the area’s we service the National Weather Service forecast’s between 3 to 5 inches for Middlesex, Morris, Essex, Union, Somerset and Sussex counties, while Bergen and Passaic may face near blizzard-like condition due to strong winds and blowing snow.

The weather service is recommending that residents should avoid parking their vehicles where trees can cause damage.
