FEEDING AND FERTILIZATION PROGRAMS
Trees and shrubs in the residential and commercial landscape can find themselves growing in an environment lacking in vital nutrients, subject to the stresses of soil compaction as well as weather extremes.
Our fertilization programs are designed to provide the food needed for healthy trees. Through sub-surface root zone injections and slow release micro nutrients we provide the ongoing nutrients for them to flourish.
By introducing bio-stimulants (beneficial microbes) our fertilization program is designed to enhance a root system’s ability to take up and deliver these nutrients and condition the soil these roots live in. Other necessary materials can also be applied through micro injection. This is a delivery method by which fertilizers are applied directly to the trunk of a tree through pressurized capsules. This method is helpful when a trees root system is not accessible for root injection. Only a certified technician can implement this method.
CABLING AND BRACING
As trained arborists, we can identify potential hazards in trees and recommend ways to prevent breakage. In some tree’s narrow crotches occur during the course of normal development. This can cause breakage.
Artificial support through cable installation can prevent breakage from stresses like high winds or increased loads from snow or ice.
A relatively inexpensive cable installation can extend the life of a tree, and prevent damage to nearby structures.
New Jersey winters have been known to uproot evergreens that have been planted as individual trees or as multiple plantings. These plantings can provide a wonderful windbreak or property line screen. So, before you remove that fallen pine, spruce or arborvitae call us to see if the tree is a candidate for anchoring and cabling. 973 762 5221
